TEST SELECTION

The AEPA are conducted in morning and afternoon test sessions; each session is four hours in length. The morning session has a reporting time of 8:00 a.m. and ends at approximately 12:30 p.m. The afternoon session has a reporting time of 1:00 p.m. and ends at approximately 5:30 p.m. Examinees will be assigned to one or both sessions according to the number and type of tests for which they have registered. As certain tests are only offered in certain sessions, session requests cannot be honored.

The Basic Skills test consists of three subtests: Reading Comprehension, Writing, and Mathematics. You may take one, two, or three subtests at any test administration. Individual subtests are not timed within the test session. You may spend as much time as you want on each subtest and may work on the subtests in any order you choose until the test session ends.
